Here is a quick sequence from my Thesis animatic, entitled "Fetch". The boy throws the stick several times, and his dog chases after it happily. In this sequence, the boy pretends to throw the stick and hides it behind his back at the last minute, confusing his dog.
After this scene, the dog finds it behind his back and tackles him to the ground, winning the stick over in the end.
